Kyiv, December 28 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada gathered on Sunday for an emergency meeting to adopt the 2015 budget. Several hundred people gathered on the street under the parliament building, demanding to prevent a decline in living standards, solve the problem of foreign currency loans, etc.

Deputy Andrei Pavlovsky from Batkivshchyna admits that his colleagues from the ruling majority are rushing to create the budget, increasing levies from ordinary citizens instead of additional taxes on the business of oligarchs.

“They did not listen to the proposal for shadowization, deoffshorization, rent, dividends, etc. We are patching up budget holes again at the expense of ordinary Ukrainians,” Pavlovsky admitted.
