Tomorrow in Kyiv, a protest rally will be held near the walls of the Verkhovna Rada against the adoption of a new law, which will actually legalize mass raider seizures of churches of the Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine.

“On October 06.10.2016, 4128, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider bill No. 8, according to which it is proposed to amend Article XNUMX of the Law of Ukraine “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations” to allow a change in the jurisdiction of religious communities by a majority vote of a meeting of people who are not necessarily members communities: it is enough that they consider themselves such.
We kindly ask everyone who has the opportunity to come to the Verkhovna Rada tomorrow at 9:00 for a prayer stand against the adoption of this bill, which will essentially legitimize raider seizures of churches,” Berdnik said.
