Baloga proposes that the Rada recognize Russia as an “aggressor country” and the DPR and LPR as terrorists

“This may surprise some, but Ukraine has still not officially recognized those who shoot down planes as terrorists, and has not recognized as an aggressor a state that itself kills and finances the murders of Ukrainians. I hope that now, when there is a democratic, pro-European majority in the Rada, when there are no communists and the dominance of the Party of Regions, nothing else prevents us from putting these issues on the agenda and holding effective votes,” Baloga said on his Facebook page.
“Because it looks a little strange when we ask the civilized world to recognize the DPR and LPR as terrorists, but we ourselves do not do this and even try to buy coal from them. When we demand sanctions for Russia, but buy electricity from it. And this is the same if Lebanon bought oil from the Islamic State,” the people’s deputy believes.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Verkhovna Rada deputies from Svoboda initiated the introduction of mirror property sanctions against the Russian Federation, as well as the termination of the Agreement on the creation of the CIS.
