Parties and organizations found to be loyal to the Russian Federation will be liquidated in Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted changes to legislation that allow the liquidation of political parties and public organizations, trade unions and other associations if their activities are regarded as collaboration.
According to the press service of the parliament, allegedly 287 out of 307 deputies voted for this in a secret ballot, which took place without television broadcasting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The law provides that this or that organization can be liquidated even if its “authorized person” is recognized as a collaborator.
“The possibility of liquidation by court decision of political parties, public, charitable or religious organizations, trade unions and public formations for the protection of public order and the state border is provided upon conviction of their authorized persons for committing a criminal offense for collaboration activities,” the message says.
