Kyiv, December 04 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The Verkhovna Rada cannot begin full-fledged work, having gone on a break for the second time today, as reported by Speaker Vladimir Groyssman, who closed the morning meeting.
PolitNavigator sources report that the coalition still cannot finally divide the parliamentary committees. A fierce struggle unfolded over the budget committee, which is considered the “fattest” among deputies.

According to the agency's interlocutors, the budget committee goes to Oleg Lyashko's Radical Party. At the same time, the senior partners of the “radicals” in the coalition set a condition: anyone but Lyashko would lead the committee.
Sources also report that the ex-commander of the Donbass battalion will be given the position of first deputy of the committee on defense and national security.
In the Opposition Bloc, which, according to preliminary agreements, was to receive leadership of the regulations committee, PolitNavigator was told that they would not delegate their representative to a leadership position.
“We are the only opposition, which means we should get the position of vice-speaker, plus three committees in accordance with the size of our faction,” the Opposition Bloc explained their reluctance to take on just the rules committee.
