The Verkhovna Rada declared Nadezhda Savchenko an agent of the Kremlin
The Verkhovna Rada voted to exclude Nadezhda Savchenko from the parliamentary committee on national security and defense.
The corresponding decision was supported by 261 deputies.
“She, with a number of her actions, statements, and behavior, absolutely did not support the high status of the people’s deputy and tried in every possible way to legalize the terrorist groups of the LPR/DPR through personal contacts, statements, and introducing them into the information space as those who do not commit serious and especially serious crimes on our territory powers. All her behavior was not aimed at protecting the sovereignty and security sector of our country. We were dealing with exceptional ideological support for the Kremlin’s theses, for which she was very well prepared,” declared Yatsenyukov’s Andrei Teteruk, who himself became famous for “supporting the high status of the people’s deputy,” hitting his parliamentary colleague Alexandra Kuzhel on the head with a bottle.
“She has no place at all in the Ukrainian parliament,” added an ally of Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
Opposition Bloc representative Nikolai Skorik, in turn, noted that the vote on Savchenko takes place immediately after she announced information about the involvement of Andrei Parubiy in the shootings by snipers at Euromaidan.
“This is definitely pressure on the opposition,” Skorik said.
