The Verkhovna Rada dismissed Tymoshenko's Minister of Ecology, who flew to Nice during a fire near Kiev
The Verkhovna Rada dismissed the Minister of Ecology Igor Shevchenko, who, during a recent fire at an oil depot near Kiev, was caught flying on vacation to Nice on a charter plane owned by gas oligarch ex-“Regional” Alexander Onishchenko.

The vote for Shevchenko’s resignation took place quickly, without discussion in the hall - this is how the coalition agreed at a closed meeting, explained speaker Vladimir Groysman.
However, Oleg Lyashko, who came to the podium, said that the agreement was different - Shevchenko had to first explain himself to the deputies.
The fact is that Shevchenko was appointed under the quota of Yulia Tymoshenko’s “Fatherland”, and the story with him puts Yulia in an awkward position. Obviously, voting for the minister's resignation without discussion allowed Tymoshenko to avoid an unpleasant conversation.
“You hold out ministers like pigs in a poke and fire them. When you introduce them, they are praised, and then they are shunned like hell. This is unfair!" - Lyashko shouted from the podium.
