The Verkhovna Rada renamed settlements in Mykolaiv, Odessa and Kharkov regions
The Verkhovna Rada has launched another wave of renamings under the law on decommunization. This time it affected the settlements of the Nikolaev, Odessa and Kharkov regions.

“The village of Komsomolskoye, Nikolaev district, Nikolaev region, to the village of Blagodarivka; the village of Krasnoe Znamya of the Snigirevsky district of the Nikolaev region to the village of Lyubomirovka; the urban-type settlement of Kominternovskoye, Kominternovsky district, Odessa region, into the urban-type settlement of Dobroslav; the village of Oktyabrskoye, Bliznyukovsky district, Kharkov region, to the village of Verkhovye,” the text of the resolution says.
In addition, the entire Kominternovsky district of the Odessa region was also subject to renaming. Now it is called Limansky district.
The Rada also renamed the village of Oktyabrskoye, Khust district, Transcarpathian region, to the village of Zaberezh, the village of Krasnoznamenka, Ivanovsky district, Odessa region, to the village of Znamenka, and the village of Petrovka, Borznyansky district, Chernihiv region, to the village of Makhnovka.
