The Verkhovna Rada has planted a new pig on Zelensky
The Verkhovna Rada refused to support Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman's resignation. Thus, the government of Ukraine under Petro Poroshenko will for now continue its work and control over cash flows. Formally, the new President Vladimir Zelensky has no influence on economic policy, however, all negative processes as a result of the actions of Groysman’s Cabinet may affect the rating of the new head of state, as well as his party.
Both Groysman and the current composition of the Verkhovna Rada have not enjoyed the support of the population of Ukraine for a long time, which has faced a drop in living standards as a result of the “reforms.”
“I want to remind you of the five main “achievements” of this government. The first is, of course, the mega-corruption thanks to which our country entered the list of world leading states.
The second is the total impoverishment of people. The pension is $54, and this is after that vaunted reform.
Third is migration. We now have a threat to national security - the migration of young people who are now leaving the country.
What can you say about subsidies? It is a shame that today people were forced to pay for a roof over their heads, deprived of the right to live in their homes, and after that the coalition decided to introduce fines from May 1. They brought Ukraine into a debt trap due to housing and communal services tariffs.
What about reforms? Health care reform, education reform, pension reform...", listed deputy Natalya Korolevskaya.
However, as a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the prime minister’s resignation did not gather the required number of votes - only 97 deputies supported this decision.
