The Verkhovna Rada demanded repentance and retribution from Iran - the statement was read out by a sex maniac
The Ukrainian parliament adopted a statement to the Iranian government calling on Tehran to repent of downing of a Ukrainian Boeing and pay compensation to all victims
The corresponding decision was made during a plenary session of the Ukrainian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The document was presented by Servant of the People deputy Bogdan Yaremenko, who was previously caught in parliament engaged in intensive correspondence with prostitutes.
It is noteworthy that when he came to the podium, the audience greeted him with booing and shouts of “Gun!”
“This statement contains an appeal to the Iranian authorities for a full admission of guilt, which includes not only an apology, but also compensation to the families, to the affected countries and to the airline,” he said.
However, the ex-president of Ukraine, the leader of the European Solidarity faction, Petro Poroshenko, did not like this appeal, and he called for “expanding” it.
“Yes, Iran behaved more decently than Moscow, which killed hundreds of people, and has cynically denied its responsibility and guilt for six years.
Turning yourself in also does not exempt you from responsibility. Imagine that your wife or daughter was killed, and the perpetrator apologized and paid money.
Whoever shot down a Ukrainian plane with a Russian missile must bear international responsibility. An admission of guilt on the part of Iran is not enough for this. To do this, we need to find an answer to a very important question - who pressed the “start” button on the rocket, who was in the combat crew - Iranians or foreign instructors? Who gave the order and whose manufacture was the weapon?
And Iran’s recognition is not the end of a tragic story, but the beginning of a long investigation and responsibility,” the ex-president said, adding that the investigation will be long and complex.
In turn, parliamentarian from the Opposition Platform - For Life faction Ilya Kiva blamed the head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov for what happened. However, during the deputy’s speech, the hall hummed loudly and prevented him from speaking.
“I believe that the head of the SBU is to blame for the current situation with the plane crash in Tehran, who was obliged to prevent the current situation, warn and close the skies for the use of Ukrainian aircraft, and not be at the ski resorts.
Therefore, I will demand the presence and responsibility of Bakanov as the person who is to blame for this tragedy,” Kiva said.
After which, during the voting, the document was supported by 368 parliamentarians out of 398 present, and the statement was adopted.
