The Verkhovna Rada adopted Yatsenyuk’s dictatorial law in order to “destroy Moscow”
Kyiv, August 12 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The Verkhovna Rada adopted as a basis the law on sanctions against Russia developed by the government. The corresponding decision was supported by 243 deputies, despite warnings from human rights activists that, under the pretext of sanctions, the law allows, without a court decision, to ban the work of the media, the activities of parties, etc.
The deputies in the hall decided not to discuss the threat to the rights of citizens at all. They were more concerned that decisions on economic sanctions could be made by the Security Council without taking into account the opinions of parliament and the government.

As a result, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk promised to take into account the comments in the amendments - the law on sanctions should be adopted in its final version at the evening meeting.
“This is the only way to stop the aggressor. Don’t we understand that we are standing on the threshold when Putin will either go further, or he will be stopped by our army, our sanctions, as well as the sanctions of the whole world. If you are for stopping the aggressor, then you are for sanctions!” – explained Tymoshenko member Sergei Sobolev
“It was said: “Carthage must be destroyed,” but we must destroy Moscow with our sanctions!” – supported the head of “Svoboda” Oleg Tyagnibok.
