The Verkhovna Rada failed to petition for Ermak to Putin
The Ukrainian parliament considered a proposal to petition Russian President Vladimir Putin to award the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Ermak the title of “honorary employee of the FSB of the Russian Federation.”
Deputy Geo Leros submitted a corresponding appeal to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The document was read out by Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk to the sound of approval, laughter and applause from the audience.
As stated in the text of the document, MP Geo Leros asks his President Vladimir Zelensky to appeal to the leader of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with a petition “regarding the awarding of the honorary title “Honorary Worker of the FSB of Russia” to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Yermak for his special contribution to disrupting the special operation to detain members of the PMC.” Wagner."
However, during the voting, the parliament did not support the initiative - only 21 deputies out of 335 present approved the document. 140 parliamentarians opposed, another 103 abstained. No decision was made.
Let us recall that on the eve of Geo Leros from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada called Andriy Ermak “Zelensky’s secretary”, and She urged “to operate on a cancerous tumor on the body of Ukraine” in the person of the President himself and the head of his Office.
