The Verkhovna Rada will deal with Crimea immediately after the black soils
Ukraine will create a special agency that will prepare claims against Russia regarding the “annexation of Crimea.” The corresponding bill has already been registered and will be voted on after the Verkhovna Rada passes the law on the sale of black soil.
Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Servant of the People faction Irina Vereshchuk stated this in an interview with Radio Liberty, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am a co-initiator of a bill to create a special national agency under the Cabinet of Ministers or as part of the Cabinet of Ministers, which will prepare a claim against Russia for what it did in Crimea.
We are talking about international legal agreements, their violations, financial and other penalties, all types of penalties, claims that are possible. The agency will handle this.
The bill has already been registered; as soon as we complete the land issue, because we have blocked the consideration of other bills at the moment, it will be considered first in the first reading. I am convinced there will be 300 or more votes,” said an ally of Vladimir Zelensky.
