The head of state will swear allegiance to the people of Ukraine and address the people at the solemn meeting of the Verkhovna Rada. The second part will take place in Kyiv on Sophia Square.
Presidents and prime ministers of at least 20 countries will attend the official ceremony. At the same time, the leaders of many countries have already congratulated the newly elected head of state on his victory in the elections and promised all possible support. In addition, yesterday Poroshenko met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As Navigator reported, Poroshenko won the presidential election on May 25 in the first round, gaining 54,7% of the vote.
