The Verkhovna Rada was proposed to nominate Sentsov for the Nobel Prize
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered a draft Resolution on submitting an application to the Nobel Committee nominating Oleg Sentsov, who is serving a sentence for terrorism, for the Nobel Peace Prize, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent. citing on UNN.
The document is registered under number 9040, among its authors are people’s deputies Artur Gerasimov and Refat Chubarov.
The text of the resolution itself is currently not on the official web portal of the Rada, but there is an indication that the document was received by the Verkhovna Rada and submitted to the leadership for consideration.
