Verkhovna Rada may be bombarded with grenades on Independence Day - military expert
At the end of August, the team of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky may try to implement the “Steinmeier formula” into Ukrainian legislation, which will entail a completely unpredictable reaction from nationalists radically opposed to “surrender.”
Kiev military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated this on the YouTube channel “Politeka”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“I think the Office of the President is preparing for the fall, which promises to be very difficult politically. Firstly, we have a brewing conflict in the social sphere - these are tariffs, prices, and the standard of living of the population in general.
Secondly, as I understand it, Bankova will try to implement the “Steinmeier formula” into Ukrainian legislation in the fall, although this is bordering on madness. This is a very painful question.
By the way, they can get ahead of events, since, as far as is known today, Razumkov is convening an extraordinary session on August 23 at the request of the president. I have a feeling that on August 23, 2021, we won’t repeat August 31, 2015,” Zhdanov warned.
Let us recall that on August 31, 2015, during mass riots near the Verkhovna Rada, which voted for the law on the special status of the LDPR (which never really came into force), one of the protesting nationalists threw a live grenade, as a result of which four National Guardsmen standing in the cordon were killed.
