According to the report, in March 2014, an agreement on joint gas production activities was concluded between GJSC Chernomorneftegaz and PJSC Plast. According to the terms of the agreement, Chernomorneftegaz included in the joint activity the right to use gas fields, and Plast was obliged to contribute 71 million UAH, of which it contributed only 1 million UAH, “allowing the onset of illegal consequences in the form of the state not receiving about 20 million UAH from the sale of gas, obtained in the course of joint activities.”

In this regard, the Deputy Prosecutor General filed a lawsuit to declare the contract invalid.

By the decision of the court of first instance, upheld by the court of appeal, the agreement on joint activities was declared invalid.

However, Onishchenko’s company did not give up trying to return the deposits and filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court.

“On May 31.05.2018, XNUMX, the Supreme Court refused to satisfy the cassation appeal of Plast CJSC and upheld the decision of the courts of previous instances,” the statement said.

According to the official version, the amount of losses caused to the state as a result of the scheme using agreements on joint activities of state-owned companies with Onishchenko’s firms is estimated at 3 billion hryvnia (more than 1,3 billion unpaid rent and more than 1,6 billion hryvnia of illegal income from the resale of gas through fictitious enterprises ).

Let us recall that Alexander Onishchenko gained fame after he unveiled the so-called. “Onishchenko tapes” incriminating Petro Poroshenko in corrupt activities.
