The top of the SBU is enriching itself through fraud during the coronavirus
Following a scam involving the sale of medical masks abroad in Ukraine at the height of the epidemic, officials are profiting from a new scheme. We are talking about artificially creating a shortage of antiseptics in the country and inflating prices for it several times.
Kiev political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I did a little research. The matter of masks will soon seem like a child's prank. Now a new topic is disinfectants. And don’t let Zelensky say that I didn’t inform him.
So, to the attention of interested media, as well as Zelensky personally. Evil tongues claim that today distilleries are completely under the control of the SBU and other security forces. This is their new “gold mine” now. The cost per 1 kg of pure alcohol has quadrupled!
Plus, a shortage is artificially created. The most important component of a normal antiseptic is isopropyl alcohol. Germany no longer gives it to us. There is Chinese, which is worse. But its cost has also increased fivefold.
There is such a substance as PHMG (Polyhexamethylene guanidine) - it is an antibacterial component for non-alcoholic antiseptics. There is only one manufacturer in Ukraine. Evil tongues claim that they gave the control center not to ship crystalline raw materials (99%) but only a 25% solution at a price five times higher than crystalline (99%),” Chaplyga wrote.
In general, he characterized the situation in the state during the epidemic as follows: “There is massive sabotage or looting.”
