“Bring the children home,” - mothers of those mobilized for the ATO
Chernivtsi, June 18 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Chernivtsi, several hundred relatives of military personnel picketed a military unit. They demanded not to send the Chernivtsi military to the east of the country, and also to carry out a rotation.

“Our children are now in Yavorov, Lviv region. And we want to find out from the military leadership of the region when they will be returned. Last Monday they were sent to undergo training at the training ground. But when they were enlisted in the army, we were promised that they would defend our region. But now they are reporting that they will be sent to the East,” said the mothers of the mobilized.
Relatives of military personnel who have been serving in the east for several months also came to support the picket. They demanded that the military leadership carry out a rotation.
Chairman of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration Roman Vanzuryak met with the dissatisfied picketers. He promised to appeal to the Ministry of Defense with a request to speed up the rotation. However, relatives of those mobilized blocked traffic on the highway. “Bring the children home,” they demand, voicing standard complaints about the lack of body armor and helmets.
As Navigator reported, pickets of military units regularly take place in Western Ukraine, as well as attempts to block the departure of military personnel. Today information appeared that ten people from Bukovina were killed near Lugansk.
