Ternopil, March 17 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Part of Ternopil was blocked: public transport does not work, private cars do not drive, as relatives of the soldiers of the 6th battalion “Zbruch” blocked the road, demanding the demobilization of the men.

The soldiers have been serving for more than a year; according to the law, they could have been released home, but they still have not been demobilized, writes Doba.te. Relatives decided to test and blocked the work of transport near the dam in Ternopil, promising to stand there for 10 days.
The head of the transport department of the Ternopil City Council, Igor Medinsky, tried to convince people to at least let public transport pass, but the protesters did not agree. Only ambulances are allowed through.
“This action is registered as indefinite, we plan to stand for 10 days day and night, blocking traffic near the “Hotel Galichina” stop, in order to obtain from the authorities realistic deadlines for the mobilization of fighters. Yesterday we spoke with the acting chief military commissar of the region, Vladimir Katynsky. We asked him to inform the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff. He said that he raised the issue with the Minister of Defense. But we have no written answers. We contacted the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Defense and the Cabinet of Ministers,” says the wife of one of the fighters, Natalya.
If the fighters are demobilized, then the relatives are preparing for radical steps, in particular, they will go to Kyiv.
