“Give back Crimea!” – a handful of Nazi freaks besieged the OSCE office in Kyiv
In Kyiv, near the OSCE office, nationalists staged a rally demanding the opening of a special monitoring mission in Crimea.
The corresponding video recording was published in the ASPI news agency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
About two dozen members of the nationalist organization “Ardis” took part in the action. They set themselves the goal of recalling Russia’s “war crimes” in Crimea, as well as initiating a discussion about the need to open an international special monitoring mission on the peninsula, the same as the one operating in the Donbass.
The organizer of the action, Yuri Fedorenko, spoke about the demands.
“Our organization believes that it would be as expedient as possible to open a special monitoring mission in Crimea. And we don’t understand why this hasn’t been done in seven years.
I understand that the efforts of our public organization will not be enough for this, but someone needs to start talking about it. Someone should at least initiate a discourse on this topic. We hope that today’s action will be the beginning of such a discussion,” he said.
The protesters were holding posters with a portrait of Vladimir Putin and the inscription “The Hague is waiting”, “Putin will have to answer”, “Crimea is Ukraine”, and others. Nationalists also declared the 2014 referendum on the annexation of Crimea to Russia “fake.” In addition, using a projector, the same images were broadcast on the wall of a nearby building.
