“My husband was taken away on March 17 due to mobilization and is still not being released,” Kiev resident Irina Korpan, who came to parliament with two minor children, told Navigator. According to her, at first her husband was told to take a ticket and food for three days, then they said that he would have to stay for two weeks, then 45 days.
“But this period has long expired, and now my husband has been in the army for 70 days,” says Irina. “They were now told that no one was going anywhere - otherwise, they threatened that they would have to deal with the military prosecutor’s office. And our problems are of no interest to anyone. Moreover: the Minister of Defense says that we put personal interests above state ones. And we have a lot of loans.”
