On May 21, during consultations regarding the early dissolution of the parliament of the President of Ukraine with the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada and faction leaders, a scandalous altercation occurred between Vladimir Zelensky and the head of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko, during which the deputy complained about the president’s security.

At the same time, for some reason, the transcript of the bickering was posted on the website of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine only now, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Lyashko: “Hello, where can I take a chair?”

Zelensky: “Definitely.”

Lyashko: “Thank you. Or didn’t they count on the faction leader?”

Zelensky: “Calculated, please sit down.”

Lyashko: “Thank you, where?”

Zelensky: “We’ll find it now.”

Having sorted out the place, Oleg Lyashko began to be indignant at the behavior of the presidential guard, who did not want to let him through, took away the phone from which the radical was going to broadcast, and beat him.

Lyashko: “Can I ask why you banned the live broadcast? Your guards didn’t let me through.”

Zelensky: “We are broadcasting now.”

Lyashko: “Live broadcast?”

Zelensky: “No, not direct.”

Lyashko: “Vladimir, I have a question for you.”

Zelensky: “Can Andrey Vladimirovich [Parubiy] finish, and then you. Excuse me, do you not respect the speaker?”

Lyashko: “Vladimir, I respect you and the speaker, I want to ask a simple question, why did you give your security the command not to let you through.”

Zelensky: “I didn’t give any commands.”

Lyashko: “8 thousand people were watching there. I am absolutely sure that they all want to hear your position, see it live, and not edited recordings. And they have the right to do so. I want to ask you, as the newly elected President, why you gave the command to the guards not to let me through, they were just fighting me.”

Zelensky: “Were you beaten?”

Lyashko: “Yes, when I tried to pass, they pushed me away, they beat me, they took my phone. I am informing you, if you obviously do not know this, I am informing you of this fact. And I ask you..."

Zelensky: “I will deal with this issue.”

Lyashko: “I ask you, thank you for sorting it out, I ask you, Mr. Vladimir, to give the command to the security, return my phone and turn on the live broadcast of our consultations. This is the first one. I ask you for an answer. Give me back my phone."

Zelensky: “I didn’t take your phone.”

Lyashko: “Your security took my phone. Give me back my phone. I can count on you to return my phone to me. You do not object to these historical consultations for the country being broadcast live.”

After which the dispute escalated into a simple squabble. The odious radical demanded to give him the phone and start broadcasting the meeting live, and the president responded to his opponent with the polite “Your opinion is very interesting for us” and “Thank you, I suggest moving on to the meeting.”

When people in the hall began to be indignant, Andrei Parubiy intervened in the dispute, ending the dispute with the remark that the people's deputies were visiting the president.

Parubiy: “Can I say two words? If it were the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, you would have an authorized answer from me, but now we are visiting.”

Lyashko: “You wouldn’t have this.”

Parubiy: “I have a request, now you have turned to Vladimir Alexandrovich with a request for a live broadcast. He responded with disagreement, he has the right to this, this is his position, he has the right to this.

And so I propose, first, to find out whether a transcript is actually being kept. I think any of the workers who are present here will now simply tell you whether technically it is being carried out or not. I think that's enough".

Let us remind you that before the start of the meeting, Lyashko rode up to the building on a bicycle, where he spoke with journalists and promised that plans to launch a video broadcast of negotiations on your blog.
