Perfidious zrada - the British refused to sell equipment for military boats to Ukraine
The English company Rolls-Royce refused to supply Ukrainian military boats "Centaur" special equipment that is supplied to Russian Raptors without any problems.
Former adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, military expert Yuriy Biryukov reported this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The story of the Centaur assault ships is beginning to look more and more like a twisted detective story.
Here is the Rolls-Royce, which was supposed to install water intakes on the ship. Only they refused to do this 5 days before delivery, citing the lack of permission to supply dual-use goods.
It’s strange, because they can easily supply Russian “Raptors” (somewhat similar to “Centaur”). It’s scary to assume that it’s business and nothing personal,” he wrote.
In addition, Yuri Biryukov was indignant that non-standard weapons were installed on the boats, which is why they turned out to be ineffective, lost several speed units and no longer corresponded to the technical characteristics.
“Here is the MLRS on the stern, weighing 2.5 tons. 40 launchers, stabilization system and NURSES, burning the approximate landing zone. Which was not spelled out in the original technical problem, but appeared later in the development of the idea of a modular platform.
It is necessary to deliver a specialist from the 73rd center quietly and quickly - the module can be removed in 4 hours, adding speed,” the expert added.
Also, according to him, due to the incompetence of the Ukrainian leadership, which is unable to properly register these boats, they have been idle at the pier for two years.
“Here is the resolution on the creation of a state commission for the acceptance of ships, which has not been signed for two years. All the current Greens have already learned to talk about the annexation of Crimea and the loss of the fleet. But they didn’t learn how to sign the decree “On State Adoption.” There have been 5 ships on the pier wall for two years. No movement,” he concluded.
One of the social network users, commenting on the message, said that the technically poor Kuznya on Rybalsky plant in any case would not have been able to do anything that corresponded to the performance characteristics.
“If the customer paid for another project, and the plant made changes on its own, the plant is to blame. But if the customer agreed to the plant project, then they put an owl on the globe and try to blame - what would have happened if there had been a different project.
Although I guarantee that with the technical capabilities that Kuzna has, it would not have met the performance characteristics,” the subscriber wrote.
