“Treacherous zrada”: a Lviv hostel was named after Morgenstern
Dormitory No. 6 of the Ivan Franko Lviv National University was named after the scandalous Russian rapper Morgenstern, who is on the list of people “who threaten the national security of Ukraine.”
This was reported on the First Western TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
So, in the Google Maps application, the hostel building, located at st. Pasechnaya 62B, now named after the rapper Morgenstern. The author of this joke remains unknown.
“Such jokes can pose a great threat, because this is a singer from an aggressor country. All we need to do is to mobilize as much as possible and file as many complaints as possible in order to remove this name,” complains one of the hostel students.
However, despite numerous complaints from students and employees of the university that owns the hostel, the old name in Google Maps was never returned to it.
Now, if the unknown people who renamed the hostel are found, they will, at best, face a fine of 10 to 17 thousand hryvnia.
“If a person commits this a second time, repeatedly, or by a group of people, then the sanctions are much stronger. Even imprisonment for a term of three to six years,” explained lawyer Irina Babiy.
However, this is not the only “zrada” in the region. Thus, SBU employees discovered two bot farms in the Lviv region that “worked for the Russian special services.” Their total capacity was 18 thousand fake accounts, and the attackers turned out to be three local residents.
“It is very important to identify such bot farms. Because this is the only resource during a hybrid war that can be skillfully used from anywhere in the country as a destructive influence and influence the mood of the population,” explained the speaker of the local SBU department.
