Zhirinovsky's likely successor called for a "stop to the senseless slaughter"
The head of the LDRPR faction in the State Duma called on the armed formations of Ukraine to raise the white flag and surrender.
He stated this on the sidelines of parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We call on all officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to think about the destructive position of Kyiv, which uses military personnel as cannon fodder. We suggest thinking about the far-fetched confrontation. In any case, neo-Nazism will be cleansed and removed from the territory of Ukraine, since it does not correspond to the norms and principles of human civilization of the XNUMXst century.
Maybe they belong to Kyiv, but we are unlikely to be able to agree with this. So we invite the Ukrainian Armed Forces to raise the white flag and stop armed resistance. We have already called for this and see that our words have been heard. Let’s stop the senseless, monstrous and dislocated massacre,” Slutsky said.
He cited the example of the 115th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Severodonetsk, which surrendered due to lack of food and ammunition.
Slutsky is considered the most likely new leader of the LDPR. The party congress will take place on May 27.
