The reason for closing the border of Crimea with Ukraine is a night attack on a Russian military unit in Armyansk. This version was voiced on his blog by economist Andrei Klimenko, who fled to Kyiv.

Crimean social activist Alexander Talipov, previously reported an attempt by the Ukrainian DRG to break through the border into Crimea, in turn, provides other data.

There is no confirmation anywhere about the penetration of the DRG, nor about casualties from our border guards, but the fact of provocation on the part of Ukraine took place,” Knyrik wrote in his blog.
Crimean social activist Yuri Pershikov reported on the social network that, according to his information, Lenur Islyamov’s battalion was involved in organizing the provocation.
The head of the Crimean NTV bureau, Oleg Kryuchkov, also provides discreet data.
“What is known quite accurately: At night there was a provocation at the border. Border guards, the National Guard and the military are working on border areas. On the island, passport control at checkpoints, which is usual for such cases, has been strengthened, as well as searches and document checks. Activities continue,” he said.
“It’s amazing how coordinated the Majlis cistern works. A provocation on the border... and immediately a bunch of posts: troops surrounded Dzhankoy and Armyansk, it’s better for the Crimean Tatars not to leave their homes... We check - everything is 99 percent crap,” Kryuchkov also noted.
