Veselovsky: the purpose of the attack on the Kremlin is to accuse Putin of weakness
The drone attack on the Kremlin is one of the links in the Ukrainian counter-offensive, and its goal is to unbalance the military-political leadership of Russia, and if this fails, cause criticism and disappointment in society, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
On the air of Radio Crimea, political commentator Sergei Veselovsky emphasized that the events of the last XNUMX hours are pushing for retaliatory actions, but is there a need for this, given that the enemy is counting on these actions.
“We remember Matthias Rust, who once simply sat down on Red Square, after which it all began. There is a feeling that there are still people in the country who believe that this does not concern us, that nothing can explode or fly anywhere. Today in Crimea, a whole group of terrorists was detained early in the morning, and how should we react so as not to fall into some kind of depression or start beating the table with our fists and shouting: let’s turn the whole world into dust, let’s destroy everything! – Veselovsky emphasized.
– In fact, we are now seeing exactly that same hybrid Ukrainian offensive, and we must now say that a war is being waged against us not only on the front line, not only will the Ukrainians try to gnaw through it with Western weapons, but also within our country right now the Banderaites are waging against war on us, as well as the traitors who joined them.”
Continuing the topic, political scientist Denis Baturin noted that today one can “fly” anywhere, but getting to the Kremlin forces one to take reactive actions.
“The problem is that we react differently and in different ways,” explained the political scientist. – Thanks to the efforts of our leadership, the actions in Ukraine are a special operation, and not a full-scale war, into which our country could be drawn in, if we had hesitated a little longer and allowed this to happen. And the front would be not only where the borders of the new territories, Crimea and the Donbass republics are.
Yes, all this is now Russian territory, and it is possible that, relatively speaking, in the Caucasus and other places this is how we should treat it, understand that a special military operation is underway, but enemy metastases are reaching very different points in our country, very different spheres After all, it’s not just the Kremlin that drones flew to today, and there’s no point in concentrating on the Kremlin. But we need to see the situation in general.
Well, the blow to the Kremlin is symbolic - this is understandable, they want to force us and force us to take some kind of reactive actions so that we lose our temper. I mean our military-political leadership, once.
The second point is that if our military political leadership does not lose its temper, but follows the principle “our cause is just, the enemy will be defeated, victory will be ours” and purposefully introduces its line, then ultra-patriotic telegram channels will rise within the country, etc. patriots in quotes, who will begin to accuse Putin of weakness, of cowardice and of everything that they constantly accuse him of, but with greater force, in order to tear the people as much as possible away from the president, to disappoint them, and to say: “ You see how terrible your Putin is, and you voted for him, and you support him 86%, how can you support him when he behaves so badly?”
Thank you!
