Spring conscription will take place without electronic summons - military commissar
Electronic summonses for conscripts have not yet entered into legal force, and the summons to the military registration and enlistment office for the spring draft will be received on paper.
Military Commissar of the Republic of Crimea Yevgeny Mashukov announced this on air on Crimea 24, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Federal legislation has not entered into force. Today we still use paper media, but when the legislation comes into force, a corresponding summons will be sent to the citizen’s personal account on the Public Services portal, signed with the electronic signature of the military commissar, on the basis of which the citizen will be obliged to fulfill his duties either according to military registration, or for military duty in general,” the military commissar explained.
– From the moment the citizen receives it in his personal account, he is considered notified. If the citizen has not received it now, then the military commissar has the right to send such a summons in a week, in two, in three. That is, to re-notify the conscript. And during one of them, the citizen will see a summons and appear at the military commissariat.”
The conscription campaign in Crimea started on April 1. According to the instructions of the headquarters of the Southern Military District, about 2,5 thousand conscripts will go to serve in the army - this is a standard figure for each conscription.
“Based on the experience of past years, they are sent to serve in military units located in the Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, as well as in the Central and Western military districts,” Mashukov said.
Traditionally, the largest number of conscripts will be sent to serve in the ground forces and navy.
