“We’ll hang you later”: Tuka beckons Donbass defenders with an amnesty
Ukraine will have to agree to a mass amnesty for the participants of the Russian Spring in Donbass in order to reduce the resistance of opponents of the return of the LDPR to the control of Kyiv.
Ex-Deputy Minister of “Temporarily Occupied Territories” Georgiy Tuka stated this on Channel 4, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Any members of illegal armed groups and organizers should be subject to criminal cases. And punishment in the form of imprisonment should be used exclusively against those who committed war crimes.
I understand that this is difficult to accept on an emotional level.
But if we do not apply this amnesty mechanism, we will significantly increase resistance to reunification with Ukraine. We ourselves will doom ourselves to greater resistance to ourselves,” said Tuka.
Let us recall that at the height of the Russian Spring, the statement of the current mayor of Dnepropetrovsk, Boris Filatov, became famous, who proposed to lull the vigilance of the rebellious regions, pretending that concessions were being made to them.
“No landings from the Maidan. No extremist statements. You need to give the scum any promises, guarantees and make any concessions. ...And hang them... You have to hang them later,” suggests the Ukrainian politician.
Thank you!
