Spring has passed, Zelensky told when they will plant
The election slogan of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to imprison corrupt officials will be implemented by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office in the near future, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka.
“Recently, the President met with the heads of SAPO and NABU. We talked about the fact that people expect justice and people expect punishment for those involved in corruption - those who have been talked about a lot in the scandals with Ukroboronprom and Centrenergo. This was the message we were talking about - “spring will come - we will plant,” said Ryaboshapka.
He added that this message, slightly transformed, was conveyed to the heads of two anti-corruption institutions.
“It seems to me that we should soon see the first results and implementation of the slogan,” Ryaboshapka noted.
The Administration of the President of Ukraine gave the heads of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office a period of three months, during which Artem Sytnik and Nazar Kholodnytsky must find understanding and restore trust in the authorities by demonstrating the results of their work.
