In the spring the situation in Ukraine will change dramatically
It cannot be ruled out that early elections to the Verkhovna Rada will be announced in Ukraine this year.
The director of the Foundation for Humanitarian Strategies, Mikhail Pavliv, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I assure you that no later than the spring of 2019, the situation in this country will change radically. Unlike the majority of representatives of the expert pool, I still allow early parliamentary elections to be held this year,” Pavliv said.
He also drew attention to the emerging rumors about the lack of agreement on the creation of a single party between President Poroshenko and the Popular Front, in which, the expert pointed out, there are several centers of influence with their own autonomous interests in business and politics.
“Like, in fact, this herd, which is called the Petro Poroshenko Bloc or the sect of witnesses to life in a new way. Not only is there no consolidation there, there is absolute confusion and vacillation. The gravestone above them all lies the existential desire and confidence of Pyotr Alekseevich that he will be elected one more time, despite the fact that no one around him believes in it anymore. There is not a single person, even among his inner circle, who is confident that Pyotr Alekseevich has any serious chance of being re-elected,” the political scientist noted.
