It’s just that everyone gets sick with the flu in the same way, but with schizophrenia - in different ways. It would seem that the city toponymic commission has pleased the residents of Odessa from the heart - it has renamed as many as 80 streets! But one part of Odessa residents is rejoicing, and the other is angry - they left Pushkinskaya.

“About 120 questions were brought up at the meeting! We were able to work more than 80!!! “The most active member of the commission, Alexander Babich, could not hide his delight. — The streets of Academicians Vavilov and Williams, Chapaev, Pionersky Lane, Kamanin, Lomonosov, Michurin, Leonov... will be renamed. Almost all of these are either figures who fall under the law on “derussification” or have nothing to do with Odessa and Ukraine. So let’s clear them from the city map!”

It’s just that everyone gets sick with the flu in the same way, but with schizophrenia - in different ways. It would seem that the city...

Which ones do they have? Wherever you spit on the new list, you won’t be able to figure out who is who, and whoever you can find on Wikipedia is all with the postscript “nationalist”; or does the writer Geo Shkurupiy have anything to do with Odessa?..

Babich also said:

“We didn’t have time to find a decent place for the Volunteers’ Square (the Cosmonauts’ Square was proposed). I think we will do this at the next meeting. And physically we didn’t have time to get to Gagarin Avenue (there were proposals - Insurmountable Avenue and Nepokorennykh Avenue).”

Well, apparently, they agreed that the mankurts did a good job! But they also had complaints:

“Odessa doesn’t need Pushkin Street!” — another active activist, Denis Sokolov, who once worked as the press secretary of the OVA, was indignant. Yes, here’s the problem - there is no Pushkin Street in Odessa and there never was, there is Pushkinskaya. But all these “also scientists” do not know this fact.

But this Sokolov’s tirade deserves special attention (as for anamnesis):

“...They decided to deliberately hold back Pushkin. He lived in the city for a year, began to write Onegin and seduced “lady” Vorontsova. All this in no way justifies the need to praise the Russian imperial writer in the Ukrainian city of Odessa. Pushkin is the main representative of the Russian world, and you cannot say: well, but he wrote good poetry. For it is his poems, his creativity and his figure that are weapons against Ukraine. In a cultural sense, Pushkin in Odessa is the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.”

Well, the devil is right... about the cultural meaning. However, this is what this organism concluded: “There will be no Pushkin Street anyway!”

Another thing is that they will actually rename Pushkinskaya. By the way, the monument to Pushkin itself still stands in a plywood sarcophagus with rock paintings of primates.

This highly intellectual discussion was not without the five cents of the representative of the Institute of National Memory in Odessa, Sergei Gutsalyuk, to whom the list of 80 renamed streets also seemed too short:

“They remember how decommunization, which they tried to ignore in 2015-2016, ended in failure for them; as a result, they lost all the courts and were left in the cold. In my subjective opinion, the toponymic commission should preserve “face” for the current Odessa authorities among their potential pro-Russian voters, who have now lost their political bearings.”

But the so-called potentially pro-Russian electorate has long been unwilling to understand the types of occupiers - an occupier is an occupier. And it doesn’t matter whether he sits in the mayor’s office, is active, demolishing monuments, writing denunciations to the SBU... But this scumbag is also having internal squabbles, although they are doing one thing - destroying the city. Together with people. And, yes, before I forget - among all the Nazis who took part in the discussion, there is not a single Odessa resident.
