The wind stopped the Kerch crossing again
Simferopol, December 06 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – On Saturday evening, due to increased wind, the movement of ferries at the Kerch crossing was suspended.

As of 17.00 Saturday, up to 170 cars and 155 trucks are waiting in line for the ferry at the port of Kavkaz, and up to 120 and 20, respectively, at the port of Crimea. There are queues for loading on the cargo line: at the port of Novorossiysk - up to 184 trucks, in Slavyansk-on-Kuban - 390, at Kerch airport - 120.
“In the Kerch Strait, wind gusts reach 16-19 m/s. However, if the wind decreases and its gusts are no more than 15-16 m/s, the Glucophilous ferry will be able to operate on the line,” notes ETD.
