A DPR army veteran told how militias on bicycles burned Ukrainian Armed Forces tanks

Reserve lieutenant Vladimir Bezruchko, a former fighter of the DPR “Vostok” brigade, shared with a PolitNavigator correspondent an interesting incident that happened to his colleagues at the beginning of the war in Donbass.

“The dill went on the offensive, and there is a field between our positions and the Ukrainian ones. On the other side of the field is a bunker, and near it a tank came out to work with us. And then some guy grabs an RPG, grabs three grenades in a pouch on his back, and runs to this tank. The Utes fires from the bunker, and he runs after the tank. He missed once, twice, three times. He came back, threw a grenade into his pouch, saw a bicycle, grabbed it - and rode the bicycle after the tank. The machine gunner had already stopped shooting, apparently, he was also watching this picture. And he was chasing a tank on a bicycle, and finally caught up with it, and he set the tank on fire.

And the second case:

We were driving from Saurka, passed the Snezhnyansky checkpoint and noticed a tank in the field. They told the guys: “Watch out, there’s a tank there.” And they immediately: “Where?” Three jumped into the Moskvich, three more into the Zaporozhets - and raced to the tank. One shouts: “My tank,” the other: “No, mine.” I don’t know whether they caught up or not, but that’s how they chased Ukrainian equipment,” he said.
