The ex-Minister of Transport of Ukraine, an active participant in the first Maidan, Yevgeny Chervonenko, stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The tragedy of both the first and especially the second Maidan is not so much the “hand of Moscow”, the “aggressor” - they pushed, perhaps they entered where the mood was. And the fact that half of Ukraine did not perceive either the first or the second Maidan as their idea, and at the same time, in order to destroy this myth about the difference between East and West, even though they are different, and to stitch it all together, to become great, we are doing who knows what,” Chervonenko said.
