A Northern Military District veteran explained when it will be possible to liberate Zaporozhye, Kherson and Odessa
As long as Ukraine has the strength to resist, the assault on major cities will only result in a bloodbath.
Ruslan Dolgosheya, a member of the Odessa resistance since 2014, a veteran of the Northern Military District, stated this in an interview with publicist Maxim Kalashnikov, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is happening at the front now can be called grinding. We grind the equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our losses are much lower.
But if we now begin assaulting large cities - Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Nikolaev - then we will get a heap of rubble littered with corpses,” Dolgosheya said.
The anti-Maidan activist stressed that it is now important to deprive Ukraine of the strength for further resistance.
“Therefore, based on this, at the moment there is maximum exhaustion of the enemy. So that when we approach large cities and enter operational space, we will not have any clear resistance in large cities with a population of over a million.
This is a reasonable strategy, in my opinion,” he concluded.
