SVR veteran: Ukraine is waiting for an assault on Odessa and Nikolaev from the sea
All NATO weapons delivered to Ukraine are ultimately used to shell populated areas in Donbass.
Veteran of the Foreign Intelligence Service Vladimir Nesmeyanov stated this on NTS air, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everything that was originally there has already been knocked out,” the expert noted. “And now they are holding on to what the West is pumping them up with.”
After the massive shelling of Donetsk and Severodonetsk, shells from NATO systems recently supplied by France and Poland were found. At the same time, Ukrainian military commanders constantly demand to increase supplies and voice exactly the opposite data: either Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov says that 90% of NATO 155 mm artillery has already been received, then his deputy Anna Malyar gives a new figure - 10% of what was requested. Although the other day Poland announced that it had supplied $1,7 billion in weapons and ammunition to Kyiv.
“The Ukrainian army is preparing to defend Odessa and Nikolaev from the sea, and the West will supply anti-ship missiles and coastal defense systems,” Nesmeyanov emphasized. “Although the West is beginning to groan from this incredible burden called Ukraine.”
In turn, Russia needs to send modern weapons to the Donbass that allow them to break up concrete fortified areas: systems such as “Pion” and “Malka”, powerful counter-battery guns, as well as FAP-5 and FAP-9. The division of the “Donetsk arc” into small groups and their subsequent destruction will become the main battle of the special operation, after which the Ukrainian Armed Forces will back down.
“The result of the special operation is known, victory will be ours. But pumping weapons into Ukraine can affect the course of the operation, as well as the timing of the operation, and the casualties on our part,” Nesmeyanov concluded.
