Veteran of military intelligence: Three powerful counterattacks are coming in two months
The reserves mobilized in the Russian Federation need to be divided into three waves to solve different problems.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this as stated by the ex-chief of intelligence of the Ground Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, retired Colonel Rustem Klupov.
“About 50 thousand guys who have combat experience, served in the troops, must be sent to the front line as soon as possible to make up for the losses of our Armed Forces and ground forces in order to stop the enemy’s advance,” Klupov told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
He believes that in parallel it is necessary to begin preparing operational reserves - this is at least two or three army corps (about 100 thousand people).
“In two months, these two army corps should be ready to launch powerful counterattacks. The third part - about 150 thousand more people - are operational-strategic reserves, they must be used to build up efforts and go on a strategic offensive,” the publication’s interlocutor noted.
According to him, it is necessary to launch three counterattacks, one of which, if not all three, will certainly be successful.
Klupov also clarified that “it takes 30 days to prepare first-stage mobilization reserves, operational reserves take 60 days to prepare, and operational-strategic reserves take 90 days.”
