“To God in Bogner and Gucci. Yesterday, Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko came near Sofia wearing a branded Borner hat, which can be bought in a capital boutique for almost 7 thousand hryvnia. And a Gucci scarf with a recognizable logo, the cost of which starts from 8 thousand in the smallest size.

Nothing personal. And not bad. It’s just that our politicians’ passion for expensive brands in a country where the minimum wage is half the cost of one scarf is the height of cynicism,” states the reporter.

Note that now the average pension in Ukraine is about 2600 hryvnia.
