The conflict in Donbass is not a clash of ethnic groups, but a battle of religions. The Minister of Revenue and Duties, acting, stated this in the Donetsk Format program. Deputy Prime Minister of the DPR Alexander Timofeev (call sign “Tashkent”), reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“They say that the Russians are fighting here. Yes, the Russians are fighting here. I will say more - Russians are fighting here with Russians. I am Russian and those who think that it is unclear who they are are also Russians. They are simply poisoned by TV. We are not fighting the Chinese, not the blacks. Here Russians are fighting with Russians.
By and large, the war is not against the oligarchs, but above all, there is a battle of religions. This part of the Russians is sure that we are Orthodox Christians, but that part of the Russians, I no longer understand what they are sure of. As they say, “the devils are not our God.”
Why? A priest cannot call for the killing of his fellow men. If he has a sect (this is not a parish, this is a sect), and there are adherents there who carry out the orders of this servant of Satan, or whoever he is, this is not our God. Therefore, there is a battle of religions here, on our territory,” Tashkent said.
