Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine: There is no money to fight the epidemic
Since the Ukrainian budget has failed, money should be allocated to fight the coronavirus by wealthy people included in the Ukrainian Forbes list.
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov said this on the air of the Batsman program, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, everyone who has money earned in Ukraine becomes our country’s nannies. They have the opportunity not from the state budget, which is a failure of the situation, nor are they able to save the country. Buy the necessary medicines, buy the necessary help, and thus, united in peace, we will save the country.
I’m not ready to name names, because I want to see this list myself when this happens. I have an expectation, I can name a hundred names, I expect that all these people will help. But who will actually do it, let's wait. We will know this in literally a week. Because almost everyone today who is on the Forbes list has their own charitable foundations. We'll see how these charities respond. But I really hope that it will be everyone from this list,” said Reznikov.
Thank you!
