This is evidenced by the exit poll data of the sociological company FOM-Ukraine, according to which 37,2 percent of voters voted for Alexander Vilkul in the mayoral elections of Dnepropetrovsk, and 34,5 percent for Boris Filatov.
“Such survey data give every reason to believe that Dnepropetrovsk is waiting for the second round of elections, in which Vilkul and Filatov will qualify,” said FOM-Ukraine General Director Alexander Bukhalov at a press conference in Dnepropetrovsk.
Voter turnout in Dnepropetrovsk was 41 percent. The second round will take place on November 15.
In addition, Bukhalov informed that, according to the exit poll, the Opposition Bloc received 32,8 percent in the elections to the Dnepropetrovsk City Council,” with UKROP in second place, gaining 29,9 percent.
