Vice-Tyagnibok: Putin will invade Ukraine and Belarus
Before the vote on amending the Constitution, Russia may attack Ukraine or Belarus in order to raise the rating of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Yuri Sirotyuk, deputy head of the Svoboda VO, said this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now, on the eve of a new stage of Putin’s power, he needs small victories. The most obvious target for aggression is Ukraine. Belarus is also under attack - Russia has been doing to it for years what it did to Crimea. Belarus was in complete informational annexation and occupation, there were Russian military bases in Belarus, Russian business was penetrating into Belarus and Lukashenko was trying to balance.
It seems to me that now Belarus will become a new object of serious Russian aggression.
I admit that Russia is again using the Ukrainian card, as well as the Belarusian and Transnistria cards, in order to return Putin’s rating within the country,” Sirotyuk said.
