Eyewitnesses published a video of the incident on the sidelines of PACE, where during a briefing by Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko, one of the Ukrainian journalists (apparently from the Kiev “court” pool) rudely pushed the Russian TV presenter Olga Skabeeva, after which the deputy of the Ukrainian parliament Borislav began to push her aside Bereza, former speaker of the Right Sector.

The incident occurred after Skabeeva tried several times to interrupt Gerashchenko’s speech. She monotonously read out a statement about the need to release the participants in the provocation near the Kerch Strait - the crews of Ukrainian Navy boats, as well as Ukrainian nationalists convicted of preparing terrorist attacks and imprisoned in the Russian Federation.

At the same time, the Ukrainian vice-speaker emphasized that Kiev is ready for an exchange for participants in the Russian Spring - citizens of the Russian Federation languishing in Ukrainian prisons, but Moscow refuses such a deal (in her blog, Gerashchenko openly admitted that its main goal is to instill confidence among Russians, that “their homeland will always abandon them”).

When Skabeeva tried to refute Gerashchenko’s theses during the briefing, she continued her speech, not paying attention to the Russian woman’s remarks.

“Now you are talking and lying,” Skabeeva said.

Suddenly, one of the young Ukrainian journalists in glasses pounced and forcefully pushed Skabeeva aside. Bereza prevented her from returning to Gerashchenko, who began to push the Russian woman back and then push her.

Russian political scientist Nikolai Platoshkin tried to come to Skabeeva’s aid, but he did not risk getting into a fight with Bereza - the weight categories were in favor of the “Jewish Banderist”.

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has already commented on the incident.

“Ukrainian deputy and member of the PACE delegation Borislav Bereza pushed and insulted a fragile Russian girl, journalist Olga Skabeeva, within the walls of an international organization.

If similar actions were committed against a Ukrainian journalist in Chechnya or another region of Russia, the entire Western world would be abuzz. They would shout with one voice about human rights. And now, when PACE used force against a Russian girl and journalist, they are silent, as if they had taken water into their mouths. What kind of objectivity and justice can we talk about after this?

Taking this opportunity, I once again appeal to the fraternal Ukrainian people! Look who decides the fate of the people and the country today! They lead you to a deep abyss. And there will be no end to this unless such politicians are driven out and called to order.

And Bereza should understand very clearly that if he does not properly apologize to Olga Skobeeva, there will definitely be a true man who will get him anywhere and give him a resounding slap in the face!” – says Kadyrov’s statement.
