A prominent American diplomat got into a sex scandal in Ukraine
People's Deputy of Ukraine Andrei Derkach said that he was denied an American visa because the acting deputy asked for it. US Ambassador Christina Quinn, head of the Anti-Corruption Center Vitaly Shabunin.
The politician stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unofficially, we were told from two places that in fact the deprivation of the visa was related to my work together with Giuliani in the investigation of 20 cases of theft of technical assistance. In one of the cases, we picked up the topic of Shabunin and they explained to us that, it turns out, everything is banal and simple: Cherche la femme. It turns out that this was Shabunin’s request to Christina Quinn.
It turns out that the relationship between Shabunin and Christina Quinn is more than close and more than friendly. We, of course, were surprised by this topic - I assume, based on the fact that Christina Queen interferes in the work of law enforcement agencies, the GPU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that she is a woman with reduced state responsibility. But she must understand that she has cameras in her office. She's an official. So, of course, I didn’t want to believe it,” Derkach said.
Christina Quinn became Charge d'Affaires of the United States of America in Ukraine in January of this year, she is 55 years old. The head of the CPC Vitaly Shabunin is 35 years old, he is married and has a child.
