Prominent Russian liberal: Zelensky is lying, Ukraine is losing new territories
Ukraine continues to lose its territory.
The founder of the Yabloko party, Grigory Yavlinsky, stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Living Nail,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You see how the so-called counter-offensive ended. It didn't end in anything. I recently became acquainted with data that suggests that the loss of territory in Ukraine continues. 120 thousand square kilometers were occupied by the Russian side, and nothing was returned, and even increased by 28 square kilometers. This will continue. And it could be even worse,” Yavlinsky said.
He believes that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is lying to his voters, giving them unrealistic hopes, although the defeat of their country is inevitable.
“It won’t be the other way around. That's the whole point. The American military sees this, even Zaluzhny. A year ago it was clear that after what happened in Kharkov and Kherson, there would be no more. The most important thing even then was to save people’s lives, so that at least 80% of Ukraine would have prospects for the future and recover,” Yavlinsky said.
