According to Svitko, Oleynik agreed “on interaction with the majority of the deputy corps” and planned to achieve a replacement for the chairman of the regional council. According to the chairman of the regional council, it is the governor who bears the responsibility for today's clashes.

“It was necessary to remove the issue from the agenda that led to confrontation. But the former “regionals”, together with their supporters, still did it their way - they voted to include the issue of resignation on the agenda. After that people stormed“Svitko explained.

According to the publication "My Vinnitsa", at the press conference “a clear ultimatum was sounded to President Petro Poroshenko - to dismiss Governor Anatoly Oleinik.”

“We think that on Monday the President will make the right decision,” emphasized regional council deputy Yuri Pavlenko (Hort), whoabout the time of the confrontation in the regional state administration building trampled underfoot the portrait of the president.

They also reported that a Maidan council had been created, which included 35 people. According to activists, they will ensure that the candidacy for the post of head of administration is approved by the Maidan council.

At the same time, local media note that Svitko himself was unable to organize the work of the regional council, so the demand for his resignation is also natural.

In turn, Governor Anatoly Oleynyk, appointed to this post back in March, demanded that the radicals who stormed the administration building today leave it.

“Due to the difficult situation in Vinnitsa, I am forced to demand from participants in the assault following. Immediate vacation of the premises of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration and the Vinnytsia Regional Council and the start of the negotiation process. If these requirements are not met, the government will be forced to restore law and order by all available methods in order to protect the life, health and safety of citizens of Ukraine,” – says in his statement posted on the Regional State Administration website.

As PolitNavigator reported, today aboutabout 400 radicals stormed the building of the Vinnytsia regional council, where an extraordinary session was planned, at which local deputies intended to vote for the resignation of the current chairman of the regional council, Sergei Svitka. Besides, “Svobodists” demanded the resignation of the governor and destroyed the office of the Development Party of Ukraine.

As a result, 13 people were injured in the collisionsk, law enforcement officers have opened a criminal case, however, the radicals do not intend to retreat: The “Vinnitsa Maidan” is scheduled to be held on December 7, and a picket of the regional Department of Internal Affairs is scheduled for December 8,
