According to him, the only option for preserving the country, and then within the current borders, would be federalization, which the Kyiv authorities will under no circumstances agree to.
“I don’t see any positive options, because those who are now making decisions in Kyiv, or for them outside Kyiv, absolutely exclude the only way that could preserve the state integrity of Ukraine within its current borders; there is no talk of Crimea. And this is the same federalization. But I believe that, in general, the point of no return has already been passed, and further disintegration of Ukraine will occur,” Tretyakov said.
