Ukrainian official talks about this wrote on his page on the social network.
“No one will withdraw claims or cancel absolutely justified claims against Gazprom,” Vitrenko wrote on Facebook.
He also announced Kyiv's plans to demand "much higher transit fees to cover increased costs due to the need to accelerate the depreciation of our gas transportation system."
Recall yesterday Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Press of the Russian Foreign Ministry Anastasia Fedorova saidthat the construction of Nord Stream 2 does not imply curtailing the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine.
“As for Ukraine, the concept of constructing Nord Stream 2 does not imply the termination of the transit of Russian gas through existing gas pipelines.”
At the same time, according to her, Moscow hopes for “Kiev to provide competitive tariffs for transit and level out known transit risks, including the removal of all claims and the cancellation of absurd claims against Gazprom.”
